Tevez down, who will substitute

This end of the season came with a lot of news for all the teams. In Manchester City’s backyard movement is on. Carlos Tevez, the main striker for the blue team wants out.
“I want to go to from Manchester City, was Carlos Tevez’s statement.
“We were treated very well here and I am grateful. I gave everything I had and reached for such good results. But I think it’s time for a change, “said 27-year player.

Tevez‘s departure is not a recent news. His relationship with coach Mancini was a cold one last year and it was expected that the Argentinian to leave.

“Football has changed a lot for me and I do not know if I will play in the next World Cup. I do not mean that if I’ll be selected or not. To get back to Boca Juniors would be nice, but extremely complicated. It’s a lot of money in the middle, “said Tevez.

The rumors are that the replace for him might be Cristiano Ronaldo but City denies it.
“We are not interested in Cristiano Ronaldo. There is no interest from Manchester City “said a spokesman from City.

Gary Neville, end of a golden career!

Neville was one of the most important players in Manchester United’s Premier League dominance over the last two decades, winning eight titles between 1996 and 2009, two UCL trophies, three FA Cups and two League Cups.

He appeared under national flag at two World Cups and three European Championships, making a hat-trick of appearances in football’s greatest international event and gathering 400 Premier League appearances.
“I have been a Manchester United fan all my life and fulfilled every dream I’ve ever had,” were Gary Neville’s words.
“Obviously I am disappointed that my playing days are at an end, however it comes to us all, and it’s knowing when that time is and for me that time is now.”

Gary started his career on September 1992 Uefa Cup tie against Torpedo Moscow and ended on 1st January 2011 against West Bromwich Albion.

Ferguson: “Gary was the best English right-back of his generation.”
“He is an example to any young professional, hard-working, loyal and intelligent.”

Arsene Wenger: “If you look at his record, he has won absolutely everything and with the number of games he has played, he is without a doubt the best.”

Cech nr.300

Born in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic, Čech started playing football at seven years old in his native town. He played in his youthful for FC Victoria Plezen and he first started as a striker due to his hight at a very early age.

Čech started as a goal keeper in training, goalkeeper coaches took note of his abilities. By age 14, Čech grew from 180 cm to 196 cm. This drew him attention, not because of his height, but his talent as a goalkeeper.

It was Claudio Ranieri, then manager of Chelsea, who decided that Čech was the right choice for the Blues.

After the first offer rejection, Rennes accepted a second one in February. Čech agreed a summer move to Chelsea for £7 million, signing a five-year contract, from July 2004. That made Cech the most expensive goalkeeper, costing more than all the other goalkeepers put together.

Cech reached in the game against Blackpool the 300th appearance in Chelsea outfit, declaring his devotion for the team: “It’s true. I am happy at Chelsea and have no reason to change anything.”

“As long as they are one of the world’s best clubs and as long as they want me to play for them, I will be happy to stay.”

Earthquake in Premier League!!

A new scandal in Premier League is on everybody’s lips. Kolo Toure from Manchester City was caught doped!

The ivorian defender has been tested and the A sample came out positive. His explanation for the test result was that he took his wife’s diet pills.

Toure is a player of 1.83 m in height and average weight of 74 kg. But the problem seems to be the break between seasons and holidays, when he gained weight.

In his defend, his former coach, Arsenal’s manager, Arsène Wenger said and I quote: “He is a boy who has a clean life. He’s very honest living, always at home, a family man and I don’t suspect him at all to have taken drugs to enhance his performances. I just think it is a mistake by forgetting to ask, ‘Can I take that?’”

Kolo Toure arrived at City in 2009, when he was transferred from Arsenal for 16.3 million euro’s. Toure has 85 selections in Côte d’Ivoire and he plays at City with his brother, Yaya.

Giggs continue with Manchester United

Ryan Giggs has signed a one-year contract extension at Manchester United, and will reach 21st sesson on Old Trafford club.

He is now 37 years old, and in his career at Manchester United, scored 158 goals in 862 appearances (600 in Premier League), won 11 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, two UEFA Champions Leagues and a UEFA Super Cup.

Sir Alex Ferguson on Giggs: “His experience is so vital for the younger players in the squad”, also he continued “To have the desire and the ability to play at the top level in such a physically demanding position at his age requires a special person”.

“It is great to know I’m contributing to the team’s success. I feel I’ve still got a lot to offer..” said Giggs.

This season played already 24 times for Manchester but in his opinion he still has much to contribute to the team.
