Ferguson’s cooldown!

Manchester United’s manager, Alex Ferguson found today about his punishment after some rough words against the Premier League arbitration.

The Red Devils manager is suspended over the next 5 games. He will spend the time among the supporters on the stadium chairs. And not just that but, Ferguson has to pay also a fine of 30 thousand pounds.

The cause of all of Ferguson’s problems is Martin Atkinson, the helmsman in the game with Chelsea, whom they were addressed.
The English Federation stands still on the decision against Ferguson to give an example and hoping that this kind of gestures will not repeat.

Ferguson said: “It’s disappointing, this is the only industry where you can’t tell the truth. But it’s in the past.”

This call comes in a pretty delicate moment for Manchester United which is just 3 points ahead Arsenal who has 1 game less.

Will this decision change the Barclays Premier League conquerors?

Gary Neville, end of a golden career!

Neville was one of the most important players in Manchester United’s Premier League dominance over the last two decades, winning eight titles between 1996 and 2009, two UCL trophies, three FA Cups and two League Cups.

He appeared under national flag at two World Cups and three European Championships, making a hat-trick of appearances in football’s greatest international event and gathering 400 Premier League appearances.
“I have been a Manchester United fan all my life and fulfilled every dream I’ve ever had,” were Gary Neville’s words.
“Obviously I am disappointed that my playing days are at an end, however it comes to us all, and it’s knowing when that time is and for me that time is now.”

Gary started his career on September 1992 Uefa Cup tie against Torpedo Moscow and ended on 1st January 2011 against West Bromwich Albion.

Ferguson: “Gary was the best English right-back of his generation.”
“He is an example to any young professional, hard-working, loyal and intelligent.”

Arsene Wenger: “If you look at his record, he has won absolutely everything and with the number of games he has played, he is without a doubt the best.”

Well done Gary Neville!

City-United, a new Manchester duel is rising

Manchester is preparing for another duel, City against United in the FA Cup semi-final that looks worthy of all the good words.

In this short time with Mancini at City, the Blues lost four times to the Old Trafford red devils, the latest one  in February with Wayne Rooney’s goal witch sealed the deal.

The Italian admits it will be next season before City can really regard themselves as Manchester United‘s equals. “It is a great semi-final,” he said.

“We are very close with all the top squads but we need to improve more and maybe next year we will be at the same level.

“But it is important that we played a good game at Old Trafford last time and we have a chance to win, like them.”

Everything looks good for Ferguson’s United, based on good results until now, the semi-final is awaited on the Old Trafford.

Until then, City must recover in Europa League the two goal deficit against Dynamo Kiev.
Mancini: “Every year in football you can meet your opponent, two times minimum, maybe three or four.

“And before that we have important games, Kiev on Thursday, Chelsea on Sunday, after that Sunderland.
“We are happy for everyone but we have two more games to play before we can win the FA Cup.”

Manchester and Arsenal, preparing for war!

The title in Barclays Premier League got really interesting on the end. A lot of teams are title challengers for Manchester United ahead like Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

United coach, Ferguson, said Arsene Wenger’s side had reborn the rivalry that existed between the two sides when they were routinely considered the only plausible champions.
Looking at the tables, Manchester has only three points ahead of the others so, the battle for winning its open to everybody.

Ferguson said: “Last season they (Arsenal) faded around the February to March period to leave Chelsea and ourselves in a two-horse race that saw us pipped at the post by a point.”
“But Arsene Wenger and his players have rearranged the pecking order somewhat to come storming through to lie in second place.

“Clearly they represent the main danger to us achieving our ambitions in a revival of the rivalry of a few years ago, and I am sure they regard us as the major threat to their hopes.”

Arsenal instead, starts with a minus in the next game against Manchester United, in the FA Cup. Fabregas will be missing due to an injury suffered in the game against Barcelona in UCL. “He is out for a while,” Wenger said.

Ferguson remodelate Manchester United!

After a painful loss against long-time enemies Liverpool, Manchester United coach, Alex Ferguson wants to rebuild the entire squad in during the summer, through acquisitions totaling approximately 100 million pounds.

The list includes players like Ferguson Gareth Bale (Tottenham, £ 30 million), Ashley Young (Aston Villa, £ 20 million), Jordan Henderson (Sunderland, £ 15 million), Jack Rodwell (Everton, £ 20 million), Alex Oxdale-Chamberlain (Southampton, £ 10 million) and Maarten Stekelenburg (Ajax Amsterdam, £ 10 million).

Manchester’s 69th years old coach wants to leave behind a young and competitive team, when he’ll decide to retire.

With 24 years as manager of Manchester United, he is the longest serving manager in their history after overtaking Sir Matt Busby’s record on 19 December 2010. His tenure is also the longest of all the current League managers. During this time, Ferguson has won many awards and holds many records including winning Manager of the Year most times in British football history. In 2008, he became the third British manager to win the European Cup on more than one occasion.

He was knighted in 1999 for his services to the game and also holds the Freedom of the City of Aberdeen
